Adam Noah Levine (born March 18, 1979) is an American musician and actor known for his role as the lead vocalist, rhythm guitarist, and sole continuous member of the pop rock band Maroon 5. He began his musical career in 1994 with the band Kara's Flowers before forming Maroon 5 in 2001. The band gained widespread success with their debut album, Songs About Jane, which went multi-platinum in the US. Levine has since released six more albums with Maroon 5. In addition to his musical ventures, Levine served as a coach on NBC's reality talent show The Voice from 2011 to 2019, guiding three winning contestants from his team to victory.
