Adam Levy is a jazz guitarist known for his work with Norah Jones. Born in Encino, California, Levy comes from a musical family, with several relatives who played guitar. He studied at the Dick Grove School of Music, learning from notable teachers such as Ted Greene and Jimmy Wyble. After moving to San Francisco in 1990, Levy worked as a studio musician and collaborated with artists like Tracy Chapman. In the late 1990s, he joined the group Killer Joey alongside musicians Joey Baron, Steve Cardenas, and Tony Scherr. Levy then relocated to New York City, where he crossed paths with Norah Jones and became a member of her band, performing on her successful albums and world tours. Additionally, he has played with other notable artists including Rosanne Cash, Chris Difford, and Amos Lee.
