Adam McKay Biography
Adam McKay (born April 17, 1968) is an American film director, producer, screenwriter, and comedian. He gained recognition as a head writer for the NBC sketch comedy show Saturday Night Live (SNL) from 1995 to 2001. McKay is best known for his collaborations with comedian Will Ferrell, co-writing and directing films like Anchorman, Talladega Nights, and The Other Guys. He also co-produced the website Funny or Die through his company Gary Sanchez Productions. In the 2010s, McKay ventured into more dramatic territory, writing and directing films such as The Big Short, Vice, and Don't Look Up, which earned him multiple Academy Award nominations.
