Adam Thomas

Adam Gordon Thomas, born on August 11, 1988, is an English actor known for his roles in popular television series. He gained recognition for portraying Donte Charles in the BBC One school-based drama series Waterloo Road from 2006 to 2009 and again in 2023. Thomas also played the character of Adam Barton in the ITV soap opera Emmerdale from 2009 to 2018. In addition to his acting career, Thomas has participated in reality TV shows such as I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! in 2016 and Strictly Come Dancing in 2023. Born in Salford, Greater Manchester, Thomas is the twin brother of Love Island participant Scott Thomas and the younger brother of Coronation Street actor Ryan Thomas. With a diverse heritage, including English, Indian, and Caribbean roots, Thomas has been a prominent figure in the entertainment industry since his debut in 2002 on the BBC soap opera Doctors.
