Adarsh Gourav Bhagavatula, born in 1994, is an Indian actor and singer. He is known for his performances in Hindi and English films. Gourav gained international recognition for his portrayal of Balram Halwai in the 2020 film 'The White Tiger,' earning him BAFTA Award and Independent Spirit Award nominations for Best Actor in a Leading Role. Born into a Telugu-speaking family in Jamshedpur, India, Gourav was raised in Jamshedpur and studied at Loyola School. He later moved to Mumbai and attended Narsee Monjee College. In 2007, Gourav's family relocated to Mumbai, where he studied at Lilavatibai Podar High School. Gourav showcased his singing talent at the Kala Ghoda Arts Festival in 2007.
