Adina Porter

Adina Elizabeth Porter is an American actress known for her roles in various TV shows. She gained popularity for portraying Lettie Mae Thornton on the HBO series True Blood (2008–2014), Kendra James on The Newsroom (2012–2014), and Indra on The 100 (2014–2020). Adina has also appeared in multiple seasons of the FX anthology series American Horror Story, playing characters like Sally Freeman, Lee Harris, Beverly Hope, Dinah Stevens, and Chief Burleson. She received an Obie Award for her work in the Off-Broadway play Venus and has been nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award and two Saturn Awards. Adina was born and raised in New York City and graduated from the State University of New York at Purchase.
