Ahmet Zappa

Ahmet Emuukha Rodan Zappa, born on May 15, 1974, is an American musician, writer, and trustee of the Zappa Family Trust. Hailing from Los Angeles, California, Ahmet is the third child of musician Frank Zappa and businesswoman Gail Zappa. His diverse heritage includes Italian, Greek, Arab, French, German, and Portuguese ancestry. While some believe he was named after music executive Ahmet Ertegun, his mother stated that his first name was that of an imaginary person they used to call upon. Ahmet Zappa is known for his contributions to music and writing, as well as his role as a trustee of the Zappa Family Trust.
