Aida Turturro

Aida Turturro is an American actress known for her role as Janice Soprano on the HBO drama series The Sopranos. Born on September 25, 1962, she graduated from Seward Park High School and later earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in theatre from the State University of New York at New Paltz. Her acting career began in 1989 with her debut film True Love, followed by appearances in movies like What About Bob?, Jersey Girl, and Illuminata. Turturro also had small parts in Sleepers, Deep Blue Sea, and Money Train. She appeared in a total of 49 episodes of The Sopranos from 2000 to 2007, earning two Primetime Emmy Award nominations for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series in 2001 and 2007.
