Aidan Devine is an English–Canadian film actor known for his work in Canadian and American television and cinema. He was born in England and immigrated to Canada at the age of 15. Devine started his acting career in Montreal after studying at Dawson College's Dome Theatre. He later relocated to Toronto, Ontario. He gained recognition for his breakout role in Denys Arcand's 'Love and Human Remains' in 1993. Devine has received several accolades throughout his career, including two Gemini Awards. He won the Best Actor award in 1997 for his performance in 'Net Worth' and the Best Supporting Actor Gemini in 1998 for his role in 'The Arrow'. Devine has been nominated for Gemini Awards three other times. Some of his notable film credits include 'Night Magic' (1985), 'The Boy in Blue' (1986), and 'Striking Poses' (1999).
