Aidan Gillett

Aidan Gillett is an Australian actor and stunt performer. He was born on April 12, 1986, in the Blue Mountains region west of Sydney, Australia. Gillett is best known for his roles as Daniel McManus in the BBC-commissioned soap opera Out of the Blue and Robert Cruze in Home and Away. In his early years, Gillett had a strong interest in music and sports, studying piano and guitar and focusing on jazz. Despite not studying drama in high school, he decided to pursue acting after being encouraged by his manager while working as a concierge. Gillett trained at the National Institute of Dramatic Art in Sydney and appeared in various productions, including the Martin Crimp play Attempts on Her Life.
