Aidan McArdle Biography
Aidan McArdle is an Irish actor born in Dublin in 1970. He studied for an Arts degree at University College Dublin and later attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London, England. McArdle has performed with the Royal Shakespeare Company, portraying the title role in Richard III and the character of Puck in A Midsummer Night's Dream. He has also appeared in London's Royal National Theatre in a stage adaptation of John Irving's A Prayer for Owen Meany. McArdle's on-screen credits include the BBC Two show Beautiful People and the Hollywood film Ella Enchanted, where he played the character of Slannen. He also appeared in an episode of the 2009 BBC TV series, Casualty 1909.
