Aimee Lou Wood

Aimee Lou Wood is an English actress known for her work in both stage and screen productions. Born on February 3, 1994, in Stockport, Greater Manchester, Wood began her acting career with notable stage roles in Mary Stuart (2016-2017) and People, Places and Things (2017). She gained widespread recognition for her role as Aimee Gibbs in the Netflix series 'Sex Education' (2019-2023), which earned her a British Academy Television Award for Best Female Comedy Performance. Wood also received award nominations for her starring role in the play 'Uncle Vanya' (2020).
