Ajai Sanders

Ajai Sanders (born Angela Marrine Wilson on October 1, 1967) is an American actress and stand-up comedian. She is best known for her supporting role as Gina Deveaux in the sitcom A Different World from 1991 to 1993. Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, Sanders attended Hillcrest High School, graduating in 1985. She later moved to Los Angeles and began working as a stand-up comic. Sanders initially had a one-time role on A Different World, but her character's appearances were expanded due to her impressive performance. She also made guest appearances on various sitcoms, including Martin, Hangin' with Mr. Cooper, and The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.
