Al Checco Biography
Al Checco (July 21, 1921 – July 19, 2015) was an American film, television, and theatre actor known for his roles in various movies. Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Checco gained recognition for his portrayal of 'Bernard Stein' in the 1968 film The Party. He also served as a performing entertainer alongside actor Don Knotts in Special Services during World War II. Some of his notable movie appearances include The Incredible Mr. Limpet (1964), The Ghost and Mr. Chicken (1966), and Bullitt (1968). Checco passed away in July 2015 at the age of 93 due to natural causes at his home in Studio City, California.
