Al Leong Biography
Albert Leong, also known as Al Leong or Al 'Ka Bong' Leong, is an American stuntman and actor born on September 30, 1952. He is known for his martial arts skills, including Northern Shaolin Kung Fu, Tae Kwon Do, Kali, and Jujutsu. With his long wavy hair and prominent Fu Manchu mustache, Leong has portrayed memorable henchman characters in popular action films such as Lethal Weapon and Die Hard. He also played Genghis Khan in Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure. Leong has collaborated with director John Carpenter in films like Big Trouble in Little China and They Live. Born in St. Louis, Missouri, he grew up behind his family's Chinese laundry and later attended Hollywood High School. Leong battled brain cancer in 1993 and suffered a stroke in 2005.
