Al Shearer Biography
Al Shearer (born August 14, 1977) is an American actor best known for his role as Nevil Shed in the 2006 Disney film Glory Road. He gained popularity as a host on the MTV series Punk'd and as the host of the BET series Hits from the Street. Shearer was born in Columbus, Ohio and began his career at BET as the host of the show Game Room. He later became the DC correspondent for the teen show Teen Summit. Shearer has also hosted a morning hip-hop show at WPGC-FM/AM in Washington, DC. He holds a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism from Howard University and currently resides in Los Angeles.
