Al Thompson (September 21, 1884 – March 1, 1960) was an American film actor known for his appearance in more than 170 films between 1916 and 1958. He gained recognition in the industry for his expertise in performing difficult stunts and often worked as a stunt double for Andy Clyde. Thompson also appeared in many Three Stooges shorts. Throughout his career, he showcased his versatility by playing various roles such as laundry worker, professor, desk clerk, and sign painter. Some of his notable film credits include 'Dull Care' (1919), 'The Stage Hand' (1920), and 'The Sawmill' (1922).
