Alfred Unser Jr. (born April 19, 1962), nicknamed 'Little Al', is an American retired racing driver. Known for his successful career in Championship car racing, Unser won two CART championships and the prestigious Indianapolis 500 twice. He also achieved victories in other racing series, such as the Can-Am series, where he won the championship in 1982. Unser holds the record for the most Long Beach Grand Prix victories, with six wins. Born into a racing family in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Unser is the son of Al Unser and the nephew of Bobby Unser, both Indianapolis 500 winners. The Unser family boasts a remarkable nine Indy 500 victories.
