Susan Saint James

Susan Saint James (born Susan Jane Miller; August 14, 1946) is an American actress and activist. She gained widespread fame for her work in television during the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s. Saint James is best known for her roles in the detective series McMillan & Wife (1971–1976) and the sitcom Kate & Allie (1984–1989). Born in Los Angeles, California, she was raised in Rockford, Illinois and began modeling as a teenager. She made her screen debut in the TV movie Fame Is the Name of the Game (1966) and went on to appear in numerous television shows and films throughout her career.
