Alan Bersten

Alan Bersten (born May 26, 1994) is an American professional Latin and ballroom dancer. He gained recognition as a contestant on the tenth season of So You Think You Can Dance and currently serves as a professional dancer and choreographer on Dancing with the Stars. Bersten is known for his partnership with The Bachelorette star Hannah Brown, with whom he won season 28 of Dancing with the Stars. Born and raised in Minnesota, Bersten has a Russian heritage and began dancing at the age of 7. In 2018, he underwent surgery to remove a tumor on one of his parathyroid glands called hyperparathyroidism. Bersten started working on Dancing With The Stars in season 20 as a member of the troupe and later became a professional partner in season [insert season].
