Anirudh Ravichander

Anirudh Ravichander (born October 16, 1990) is an Indian music composer, producer, and singer known for his work primarily in the Tamil film industry. He has also composed music for Hindi and Telugu films. Anirudh gained global recognition with his debut song 'Why This Kolaveri Di' from the 2012 film '3', which went viral and has over 400 million views on YouTube. He has received numerous awards, including three Filmfare Awards and nine SIIMA Awards. Notable film projects include composing music for 'Kaththi' (2014) and 'Petta' (2019). Anirudh is signed with Sony Music and has collaborated with Diplo on the remix of Major Lazer's hit single 'Cold Water' in 2016.
