Alan Feinstein

Alan Feinstein (born 1931) is an American philanthropist and former mail-order and internet promoter. He was born in Milton, Massachusetts and grew up in Dorchester, Massachusetts. Feinstein studied economics and journalism at Boston University before writing advertisements for a shoe company. He later pursued a career in education, teaching elementary and junior high school in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. In 1963, Feinstein married Dr. Pratarnporn Chiemwichit, a child psychiatrist, and the couple settled in Cranston, Rhode Island. They have three children, including Leila Feinstein, a television news anchor at KTLA. Feinstein is known for his philanthropic work and has made significant contributions to various causes.
