Alan Parsons (born 20 December 1948) is an English audio engineer, songwriter, musician, and record producer. He gained recognition as the sound engineer on iconic albums such as the Beatles' Abbey Road (1969) and Let It Be (1970), as well as Pink Floyd's The Dark Side of the Moon (1973). Additionally, Parsons worked on Ambrosia's debut album in 1975. He later formed his own group, the Alan Parsons Project, and achieved commercial success with their music. Parsons has also released successful solo recordings. Throughout his career, he has been nominated for 13 Grammy Awards, winning his first in 2019 for Best Immersive Audio Album for Eye in the Sky (35th Anniversary Edition).
