    Alan Westaway (born 17 February 1969) is a British actor and screenwriter. He gained recognition for his role as Nick Slater in the TV series The Bill from 1995 to 1997. Westaway also appeared in two episodes of series 4 of Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps, portraying the character Phillip, as well as in EastEnders in 2004. In addition to his acting career, he has successfully transitioned into screenwriting for British television. Westaway has written for shows such as Stan Lee's Lucky Man and the second series of Sky's medical thriller Temple.
