Albert Brooks

Albert Brooks (born Albert Lawrence Einstein on July 22, 1947) is an American actor, director, and screenwriter. Known for his versatile talents, Brooks has received critical acclaim for his performances in films such as Taxi Driver (1976), Private Benjamin (1980), Unfaithfully Yours (1984), and My First Mister (2001). He was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in Broadcast News (1987) and garnered praise for his performance in the action drama film Drive (2011). In addition to his acting career, Brooks has written, directed, and starred in several notable comedy films, including Modern Romance (1981), Lost in America (1985), and Defending Your Life (1991). He has also lent his voice to animated films like Finding Nemo (2003) and The Secret Life of Pets (2016), as well as memorable appearances in The Simpsons, such as Hank Scorpio in "You Only Move Twice" (1996).
