Alberto Isaac (18 March 1923 – 9 January 1998) was a Mexican freestyle swimmer, film director, and screenwriter. He represented Mexico in the 1948 and 1952 Summer Olympics as a swimmer. After his swimming career, Isaac turned his attention to filmmaking. In 1969, he directed the documentary film 'The Olympics in Mexico,' which received a nomination for an Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature. He also served as a member of the jury at the 30th Berlin International Film Festival in 1980 and the 15th Moscow International Film Festival in 1987. Alberto Isaac's contributions to both swimming and film have left a lasting impact on Mexican sports and cinema.
