Alec Benjamin

Alec Shane Benjamin, born on May 28, 1994 in Phoenix, Arizona, is an American singer, songwriter, and musician. He gained recognition with his breakthrough single 'Let Me Down Slowly' in 2018, which reached the top 40 in over 25 countries and has garnered over 1.4 billion streams on Spotify as of August 2023. Benjamin honed his guitar skills in high school and released his first EP, 'America,' in 2013. After signing with Columbia Records, his partnership with the label ended shortly after submitting his album. Undeterred, he embarked on a self-funded European tour, promoting his music by performing in parking lots and distributing business cards. His album 'Narrated for You' was released in November.
