Alejandro Lago

Eduardo Alejandro Lago Correa, known as Alejandro Lago, is a retired Uruguayan footballer born on June 28, 1979, in Montevideo. Lago played as a central defender and had a successful career, winning league championships with Peñarol and Rosenborg. He also represented Uruguay in international competitions, including the Copa América 2004 where the team finished in third place. Lago had a brief loan spell at C.A. Bella Vista in Uruguay and also played on loan for IFK Göteborg in Sweden. Although his time at Rosenborg was not successful, Lago's contributions to the sport have left a lasting impact.
