Alex Brightman Biography
Alex Brightman is an American actor, singer, comedian, and writer. He is best known for his work in musical theatre, including his roles as Dewey Finn in the musical adaptation of School of Rock and the title character in Beetlejuice the Musical. Brightman received Tony Award nominations for Best Actor in a Musical for both of these roles. He grew up in Saratoga, California and attended Bellarmine College Preparatory. Brightman began his Broadway career in 2008 with the show Glory Days, although it closed after one performance and he never performed in it. He has also performed with Children's Musical Theater San Jose in his youth.
