Alex Edelman (born March 20, 1989) is an American stand-up comedian known for his internationally touring comedy shows. He gained recognition in the United Kingdom, where he was named Best Newcomer at the 2014 Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Edelman has toured three shows since 2014, including Millennial (2014–2015), Everything Handed to You (2015–2016), and Just for Us (2018–2020). Just for Us had successful runs off-Broadway in 2022 and on Broadway in 2023, earning the distinction of being a NYT Critic's Pick both times. Born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts, Edelman comes from a Modern-Orthodox Jewish family and began performing stand-up at the age of 15. He has also worked for the Boston Red Sox and Los Angeles Dodgers associations in his teenage years.
