Alexandra Essoe (born March 9, 1992) is a Canadian actress known for her work in horror films. She gained recognition with her lead role in the 2014 American horror film Starry Eyes, and went on to star in the 2017 film Midnighters. Essoe has collaborated multiple times with director Mike Flanagan, including her portrayal of Wendy Torrance in the 2019 horror film Doctor Sleep. She has also appeared in notable horror TV shows such as The Haunting of Bly Manor in 2020 and Midnight Mass in 2021. Born to Canadian and American immigrant parents in Saudi Arabia, Essoe moved to Toronto at the age of 12.
