Alex Kapp Horner

Alex Kapp is an American soccer goalkeeper born on October 18, 1994, in Queens, New York. He attended Iona Preparatory School in New Rochelle, New York, where he excelled in soccer and football. During his time at Iona Prep, Kapp earned All-City and All-State honors. He also had the opportunity to participate in the 2011 High School All-American Game and train with the USA U-17 men's national team. Kapp continued his soccer career at Boston College, where he played for three years after redshirting his freshman year. He later transferred to Creighton University for his final college season. In 2017, Kapp was selected by Atlanta United in the 4th round of the MLS SuperDraft but was ultimately signed by Minnesota United on August 8, 2017.
