Alex Morris Biography
Alex Morris (born Alexander Corfield Morris, 4 October 1977) is an English former first-class cricketer. He played for Yorkshire County Cricket Club and Hampshire during his eight-year career. Morris was a left-handed batsman and a right-arm medium pace bowler. He represented England Under-19s in thirteen Youth Test matches from 1994 to 1996, scoring a half-century in his debut innings. After making his County Championship debut for Yorkshire in 1996, he joined Hampshire in 1997. Morris later played for Nottinghamshire's Second XI. He currently serves as the captain of Hoylandswaine Cricket Club in the Huddersfield Drakes Cricket League. Morris' brother, Zachary, also played first-class cricket for Hampshire.
