    Alexa Loo Biography
    Alexa Loo (born October 6, 1972) is a Canadian athlete, accountant, and politician. She is currently serving as city councillor for Richmond, British Columbia since 2014. Loo is known for her career as a snowboarder, having competed in the parallel giant slalom at the 2006 and 2010 Winter Olympics. Born and raised in Vancouver, Loo attended the University of British Columbia, where she competed in rowing and swimming. She joined accounting firm KPMG after graduating with a bachelor of commerce degree in 1994. Loo is married to Ari Goosen and they have two sons. She began snowboarding at 15 and has been coached by Mark Fawcett and mentored by Jasey-Jay Anderson.
