Alexander Hodge

Alexander Hodge is an Australian actor best known for his role as Andrew on the HBO series Insecure. He has also appeared on shows such as Black Lightning and movies like Resort to Love and Joy Ride. Hodge was born and raised in Sydney, Australia, with a mixed heritage of Irish and Chinese descent. He struggled with his Chinese ancestry during childhood due to societal stereotypes. Hodge began acting at the age of 13 and pursued it as a career after a rugby injury. He moved to New York to study at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and later relocated to Los Angeles after graduation in 2016.
