Alexander Vlahos

Alexander Vlahos is a Welsh actor, writer, and director born on July 30, 1988. He is best known for his role as Philippe, Duke of Orléans, in the Canal+ television series Versailles. Vlahos also portrayed the character of Mordred in the final series of the BBC One drama Merlin. He was born in Tumble, Carmarthenshire, and later moved to Llantrisant, Mid Glamorgan. Vlahos is of Greek and Welsh descent and is fluent in both languages. In addition to acting, he has a passion for ice hockey and played for teams such as the Cardiff Devils and represented Great Britain. Vlahos trained in acting at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama and made his television debut in the BBC Wales drama Crash in 2009.
