Alexandra Castillo (born June 14, 1971) is a Chilean-Canadian actress and dancer. Also credited as Alex Castillo, she was born as Alexandra Cecilia Castillo-Smith in Santiago, Chile. Castillo's family moved to Toronto when she was a child, where she grew up. Her passion for dance led her to study ballet and flamenco from an early age. During high school and university, she participated in theater and commercials. After earning a master's degree in Latin American studies, Castillo began her career in the late 1990s, appearing in various television series and films. Notable appearances include guest roles in The Dead Zone, This Is Wonderland, Fringe, and Warehouse 13. In 2013, Castillo joined the cast of the ABC series Lucky 7 as a series regular.
