Alexandra Gilbreath

Alexandra Gilbreath is an English actress, born on March 28, 1969, in Chalfont St Giles, Buckinghamshire. She trained at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. Gilbreath is widely known for her role as depressed author Lucy Moss in the popular TV show Not Going Out. She has a diverse body of work, with appearances on both stage and screen, including films and television shows. Gilbreath is an Associate Artist with the Royal Shakespeare Company and has gained recognition for her performances in various productions, such as Romeo and Juliet, As You Like It, and The Taming of the Shrew. She received a Helen Hayes Award nomination for Best Actress for her work in The Taming of the Shrew. Gilbreath was nominated for an Olivier award as Best Supporting Actress for her performance in Twelfth Night in 2010. She was also awarded the 1996 Ian Charleson Award for her role in Hedda Gabler.
