    Alexandra Pelosi is an American journalist, documentary filmmaker, and writer. Born on October 5, 1970, in San Francisco, California, she is the daughter of Nancy Pelosi, former Speaker of the United States House of Representatives, and Paul Pelosi. Pelosi earned a B.A. from Loyola Marymount University and a master's degree from the USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism. Prior to making documentaries, she worked as a field producer at NBC News for ten years. In 2000, she brought a handheld camcorder on George W. Bush's presidential campaign, documenting 18 months of her experience and creating the Emmy-nominated documentary, Journeys with George. Pelosi's work has earned her recognition and acclaim as both a journalist and filmmaker.
