Alexi Pappas, also known as Alexia Pappa, is a Greek-American runner, filmmaker, actor, and writer. Born on March 28, 1990, she achieved NCAA All-American status as an athlete at Dartmouth College and the University of Oregon. Pappas represented Greece in the 2016 Summer Olympics, where she set a national record for the 10k. She was born in Alameda, California, to a Greek-American father and an American mother. Unfortunately, her mother died by suicide when Pappas was four years old. Despite facing challenges, Pappas excelled in high school athletics, placing fourth in the Division III girls 5K race at the California Interscholastic Federation State Cross Country Championships in 2005. Pappas's inspiring journey and achievements continue to inspire others in the world of sports and entertainment.
