Alexis Manenti

Alexis Manenti (born 12 February 1982) is a French actor and screenwriter. He gained recognition for his role in the 2019 film Les Misérables, for which he won the César Award for Most Promising Actor at the 45th César Awards and the Lumières Award for Most Promising Actor at the 25th Lumières Awards. Manenti, together with co-writers Ladj Ly and Giordano Gederlini, also won the Lumières Award for Best Screenplay. He received nominations for the César Award for Best Original Screenplay and the European Film Award for Best Screenwriter. Manenti is set to appear in Les Indésirables, Ladj Ly's upcoming second feature film.
