    Alfie Boe Biography
    Alfie Boe is an English tenor and actor, known for his performances in musical theatre. Born Alfred Giovanni Roncalli Boe on September 29, 1973, in Blackpool, Lancashire, he grew up in nearby Fleetwood. Boe is of Irish and Norwegian descent and was named after the Italian name of Pope John XXIII. He gained recognition for his portrayal of Jean Valjean in Les Misérables, performing at the Queen's Theatre in London, the 25th Anniversary Concert, the 2014 Broadway revival, and the All-Star Staged Concert. Boe also played the lead role in Finding Neverland on Broadway. He shared a Tony Award with the ensemble cast of Baz Luhrmann's revival of La bohème in 2003. Boe has sold over one million albums in the UK and his recent works include Together in Vegas with Michael Ball. In October 2022, he announced his solo tour for 2023.
