Alfonso Dosal, born on March 13, 1985, in Mexico City, is a Mexican actor known for his work in movies and TV shows. He spent eight years of his childhood in Querétaro before returning to Mexico City. Dosal studied acting at Casa Azul and made his debut as a young protagonist in the telenovela Marina in 2006. He gained recognition for his role in the telenovela Para Volver a Amar, winning the TVyNovelas Awards for Best Young Lead Actor in 2011. Dosal has also appeared in theatrical performances such as El Knack, El viaje de Tina, Rojo, and Agonía y Éxtasis de Steve Jobs. In addition, he had a special appearance in the teen telenovela Miss XV and the telenovela El color de la pasión. Dosal is in a relationship with Solana Azulay and they have two children. He publicly came out as bisexual in December 2010.
