Ali Ghandour

Ali Ghandour (علي غندور; 28 May 1931 – 29 August 2020) was a Lebanese-Jordanian businessman and the president of ARAM Trading and Technology. Born on 28 May 1931 in Beirut, Lebanon, Ghandour graduated from the American University of Beirut with a degree in Aerospace Engineering. He furthered his education at New York University in the United States. Ghandour returned to Lebanon in 1954 and joined the Lebanese Civil Aviation Authority as an engineer and Head of aviation Safety. He was a member of the Syrian Social Nationalist Party (SSNP), a political party actively sought by the Lebanese government following a failed coup in 1961. Ghandour passed away on 29 August 2020.
