She has lent her voice to several notable characters in video games, including Dr. Liara T'Soni in the Mass Effect trilogy, Lightning in the Final Fantasy XIII series, and Palutena in Kid Icarus: Uprising. Hillis was born in Huntington Beach, California, and later moved to Normal, Illinois and Sheboygan Falls, Wisconsin.
