Alice Braga

Alice Braga Moraes is a Brazilian actress and producer. Born on April 15, 1983, in São Paulo, Brazil, she was raised in a Catholic family. Alice comes from a family of actresses, with her mother Ana Braga and aunt Sônia Braga being notable figures in the industry. Her early exposure to acting led her to appear in school plays, and she eventually made her mark in the Brazilian film industry with roles in City of God (2002), Lower City (2005), and Only God Knows (2006). Alice gained international recognition for her role opposite Will Smith in I Am Legend (2007). Since then, she has appeared in various Hollywood films like Predators (2010), The Rite (2011), Elysium (2013), The Shack (2017), Soul (2020), and The Suicide Squad (2021). She is also known for her portrayal of Teresa Mendoza in the crime drama-thriller television series Queen of the South (2016–2021). Alice Braga is fluent in English, Portuguese, and Spanish.
