Alice Krige is a South African actress and producer. She was born on 28 June 1954 in Upington, Cape Province, South Africa. Krige's first feature film role was in Chariots of Fire (1981), where she portrayed the character Sybil Gordon. She is known for her dual role as Eva Galli/Alma Mobley in Ghost Story (1981) and as the Borg Queen in various Star Trek productions including Star Trek: First Contact (1996), Star Trek: Voyager (2001), Star Trek: Lower Decks (2021), and Star Trek: Picard (2023). Krige attended Rhodes University and initially planned to become a clinical psychologist, but after taking an acting class, she pursued a career in acting. She has made significant contributions to film and television.
