Alice Wetterlund (born May 16, 1981) is an American stand-up comedian, actress, and podcast host. She is best known for her role as Carla Walton on the HBO sitcom Silicon Valley and currently portrays D'Arcy Bloom on the SyFy TV series Resident Alien. Born in Minnesota, Wetterlund moved to New York City in 1999 to attend Cooper Union. She began her stand-up comedy career in the late 2000s and became a member of the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre improv group. Wetterlund has appeared in notable commercials for companies like BMW, Lenscrafters, Scotch Brite, and Southwest Airlines. She co-hosts the podcast Treks and the City, focusing on Star Trek: The Next Generation, with Veronica Osorio, and has also co-hosted another podcast called Gilmore Guys.
