Alicia Rodis

Alicia Rodis is an American intimacy coordinator, director, and actress. Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, Rodis has had a passion for acting since her early years. She gained experience in regional and classical theatre, often being cast in more adult roles. In 2008, she moved to New York City and became involved with the New York Shakespeare Exchange, working as a fight director and directing various productions. Rodis has also collaborated with prestigious institutions such as the Yale School of Drama and the Juilliard School. Notably, she made history as the first intimacy coordinator hired by a mainstream television network, working on Season 2 of HBO's The Deuce. Her role as an intimacy coordinator became more significant due to the increased demand for such professionals following the Me Too movement in 2017.
