Alicia Sixtos is an American actress known for her roles in various television series and movies. She gained recognition for her portrayal of Maya Martinez in the Hulu series East Los High and her recurring role as Carmen Cruz in ABC Family's The Fosters. Born and raised in San Francisco, Sixtos has three sisters and is of Mexican and Portuguese descent. She began her career as a model before moving to Los Angeles in 2005. Sixtos has appeared in notable projects such as The Avengers, King of the Hill, Californication, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, and General Hospital. In 2006, she starred in the drama film Quinceañera. Sixtos publicly came out as pansexual in 2018 and got married to actor Bex Taylor-Klaus in October 2020.
